In this Sacred Sundays conversation, DJ sprouT, also known as Tamara Broughton, shares her journey through music, healing, and personal transformation, and how dance became a gateway to embodiment, resilience, and connection.

We explore the power of music as a healing force, the importance of boundaries when holding space for others, and the realities of navigating health challenges while staying creatively alive. Tamara reflects on her years in the music scene, the role of community in healing, and her intention to create spaces that feel safe, inclusive, and grounded.

This episode is an invitation to reconnect with the body, honour creativity as a medicine, and remember that healing often happens through rhythm, movement, and being witnessed in community.

"My first rave… in the woods outside Prague.

No idea what a rave even was.
Just a whisper of adventure and a yes.

Flight goggles.
Top hats by trees.
Music you’d never heard before.
And an experience that took two days to land back from.

Sometimes transformation doesn’t begin in a ceremony. It begins in a forest, with strange music and the courage to say yes."

“I’m not crazy.”

Sometimes healing begins there.

Through fasting, learning the difference between women’s and men’s bodies, and even exploring her genetics, Tammra began to understand herself in a whole new way.

Knowledge became sovereignty.
Sovereignty became boundaries.

“No, I’d really appreciate if you didn’t do that.”
Even when it comes wrapped in spirituality.

Healing is not just about opening.
It is also about protecting.
About knowing your body.
About trusting your no.

There is something sacred about digging for what others have overlooked.

Tammra shares how discovering hidden disco records was never just about music. It was about curiosity, about the thrill of the unknown, and about trusting that something magical is waiting beneath the surface if you are willing to look.

Sometimes what we are really searching for is not the record, but the reminder that wonder is still alive.
