Happy International Women's Day! I love that around the world people are coming together around the world to celebrate the feminine.

I have decided to stay in today to work on my projects as I have some dreams that were put on hold that are now resurfacing and coming true.

I am aware that many of my friends are gathering today to share poetry, music, art and much more. I see you. I love you.

Here is a playlist that I started putting together in 2016 when I was invited to DJ an event in Squamish that showcased local women artists. It was a beautiful event that my dear friend Patricia Robinson curated and was absolutely lovely in every way. Just like her.

I have been adding to this playlist now for 9 years. It spotlights all kinds of women in all styles of music from as far back as I can find. I often listen to this playlist when I am looking for inspiration.

Whatever path you've chosen or perhaps you're enduring a lot of struggle, I honour your womanhood. Let's keep on rising, loving unconditionally, and nurturing as women do... and for those who are extra loud and take up extra space... Let NO ONE get your freakin way! YOU pave the way for the rest of us and sadly you'll likely get criticized for that now but one we'll look back and be ever so thankful. THANK YOU xoxo

I  was so ber doober stoked to be heading back to my old stomping grounds for GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN! 

I managed to record my second set, which started at about 1:00am. Starts with House, goes into some Breaks and then I topped it off with some Garage. 

I had such a blast playing back to 30 minute sets with Mihajic Touch, Toshi in Love & J9. Going back to Golden BC, where it all began, filled my heart right up!

Thank you Tracy Mihajic and to our super sweet buds who came out to play and visit.

Also to everyone who reached out in messages to say hi. We felt cared for and loved! It was a a whirlwind but 100% worth it.
