I  was so ber doober stoked to be heading back to my old stomping grounds for GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN! 

I managed to record my second set, which started at about 1:00am. Starts with House, goes into some Breaks and then I topped it off with some Garage. 

I had such a blast playing back to 30 minute sets with Mihajic Touch, Toshi in Love & J9. Going back to Golden BC, where it all began, filled my heart right up!

Thank you Tracy Mihajic and to our super sweet buds who came out to play and visit.

Also to everyone who reached out in messages to say hi. We felt cared for and loved! It was a a whirlwind but 100% worth it.

Today was the Women's March around the world. Some women / people have the freedom and privilege and health to march, some don't. Thank you to everyone who keeps fighting and praying for my right to be a female dj (and to feel  safe- which hasn't always been the case) - this is for all youz. 

This was my first time recording on the new DDJ SX2 controller - I have played and recorded my mixes on turntables (since the late 90's) - but I couldn't link this crazy new machine to my controller vinyls w/o a certain added pak- so here you go--- my first time recording on this cd controller, even though I have hardly played / practised on it.  This was my first take and didn't edit anything. 

I found it to be a lot of fun. I journey through Deep / Tech and Electro House, Breaks & Glitch Hop

I simply want to share the music. I always want to dance.

Early Set - Funky Fly Breaks - NYE 2015 - LIVE At The Spice Root Squamish BC 

Part 1 of my 3 part Freegan Wiggid mix is a mini disco bliss mix which also includes some very bumpin' house styles.

In Part 3 things start to pick up and then quickly goes full blast only to slow down at the end into some dubstep and back up a wee bit into some glitch hop... which is always fun and very new for me!

My House is your House... I truly feel that if everyone in the world had this philosophy the world be a more unified, peaceful place... The Earth is our home and we all belong here. This mix is mostly Breaks and Indie Dance with a touch of Electro house... Great mix for just about anything you are doing and always fun.

Heavy-duty... Starts out with Dubstep, heads into dnb & breaks and then gets heavy on the electro house, techno and trickles out with some minimal... tasty. (128-130 avg. bpm) Some of the singing is me (in the song zum zum) - oh-so-fun-and-creative-me.

YES! I Finally just started to record my favourite tunes and start some weekly podcasting. In this podcast "Disco Zombies", I yap it up... there are probably some mixing mistakes and I play what I want... and the levels are off here and there - just like a live show!
