I am so absolutely honoured to dj and support The PLUR Collective for their ongoing fundraiser for Youth Empowerment: PANTS OFF DANCE OFF. Youth Unleashing Power is Canada’s first and only national symposium created by and for HIV / HCV positive youth. All funds raised from this event support travel costs for positive youth to attend the symposium. Over the past year and a half, #PODO has donated $3200 to YUP!! PANTS OFF DANCE OFF is a body+ queer friendly event, and is inspired by and in homage to the No Pants No Problem (http://jessicawhitbread.com/project/no-pants-no-problem/) parties that are held in support of women with HIV and have grown to international fame. Join us Friday, January 26th in Victoria BC at The Copper Owl!
Presented by the PLUR collective The PLUR collective creates intentional spaces for creativity that honour the history of PLUR: Peace, Love, Unity & Respect. expect events that are ecologically conscious, are queer friendly, and are firmly grounded in principles of consent and harm reduction, often in benefit or service to local causes that are important to us. We acknowledge this event takes place on the homelands of the Lekwungen People. Find the Facebook Event HERE |
